Lincoln
County Master Gardeners Minutes The
quarterly meeting of the Lincoln County Master Gardeners was held January 10,
2005 at St. Francis Parish Center. Twenty
four members were present. Jimminette
Phillips, our newly elected president, started the meeting with basic
instructions on how to calculate volunteer hours. The
next order of business was getting committees established.
The projects that need committees are: 1.

up for meetings—Volunteers need to sign up. 2.
Communication

Tree

Hyman volunteered to put in a drip irrigation system.
4.

two years, and has done a great job. She
will head this project again this year, but she does need help with it. 6.

your educational hours. 12.

discovery garden—Develop a children’s discovery garden possibly at Kid’s
Kingdom. All members can help with
this. Terry Reid will also be

This can also possibly be a good education opportunity if we can get
someone to give a lecture on how to beautify cemeteries. 15.

Beautification
